Problem with NotesDatabaseData class

Hello,

an object of the NotesDatabaseData class does not always refer to the Database it is supposed to.
Example:

Database database=session.getDatabase("MyServer","MyDatabase.nsf");
NotesDatabaseData ndd=new NotesDatabaseData(database);
NotesUIWorkspace ws=new NotesUIWorkspace();
ws.openDatabase(ndd);

The problem: Not the database on the explicit specified server 'MyServer' gets opened, but a relica on any server.
It lookes like, a 'OpenByReplicaId' is performed.
This is, of course, a fatal problem.

A workaround would be to start a simple LotusScript agent (which does not care if it runs on the 'wrong' server, and there to open/start the original database/agent.

Does anybody know a better workaround?
Is there a fix in sight?
